7:46 pm	Alice Cooper I think I just had the best time of my life. I rock up at 7:30 and there's an enormous queue waiting to get in. Abssolutely huge. My mum drives around the the front, me and Ben get out and just walk straight in the door. Good start hey! We find our seats (on the balcony, a bit too far back, directly in front of the stage, not bad) and we wait for Billy Thorpe to come out. So out he comes, plays a few shit songs, some people up the front are yelling at him so they get a 'shut the fuck up' which gets everyone in the right mood. He tells us we're fucking pathetic and leaves. So there's a long break. We have a look at the people and it is the weird bunch of people. Everyone's either normal like me, a goth or old. Weird. So then Alice starts. Kicks into gear with 'Department Of Youth', we jump up and down and the music does not take longer than a 5 second break between songs. No jokes. He fucked up the guillotine though. Too fake. Highlights of the night were 'I'm Eighteen' which me and Ben went psycho to, 'School's Out' where me and Ben went absolutely crazy to, and the encore of 'Poison', 'I Wish I Were Born In Beverly Hills' and 'Under My Wheels' where me and Ben literally went absolute ape-shit. The hang-over: Sore neck, sore back, head-ache, deafening ringing in my ears, weariness, sore fingers, dizziness and sore arms, but fuck, it was worth it! 6:28 pm	Time of my life...yeah fersure... Well well well.....welliwelliwelliwelliwelliwelliwell..... Saturday night was a very strange night. It was heaps of fun, yet verrrrry straaaaange. It started off real horrorshow. I rocked up to Alice's house, nice and happy, I scored a brand new guitar strap. Then my cousin showed up. We waited for her to get ready, then off into the limo. The ride was fun. So many fucking photos. I wear they drive me insane. We stopped at Maccas, had everyone looking at us. Then we had to be filmed getting out of the limo. Adrian, being the comedian that he is, will appear on the DVD getting out with a Coke in his hand. So we stroll in and we practise and we fucking crash into the table. More photos. Then we're locked into the back room. I start shitting myself, so I am now known as 'Mr. Freak-out'. Haha. So then everyone starts piling in and were all sitting there shitting ourselves. Thankfully we're last out so we shit ourselves the longest. By God, I enjoyed those 30 seconds locked together in a small room. Too scared to make a move though ;) Not the right time. So we stroll out, I grab the mop and we start. All goes well, everyone's very happy. So the deb goes very well. So to the after-party. We hop onto the party bus and Alice is the first to get smashed. Trust. So that blows my chances. Anyway, Kate and Co. hop on, all is going good. Alright, so it wasn't the best of times. Pretty boring actually. At 3:30 most people get off. At about 4:30 there's only about 10 people left. I get really bored so I fall asleep. I then realised that I'm better at scoring chicks in my sleep than I am when I'm awake. I wake up to find some chick sucking my face. So yeah, awesome night...weird but awesome.... Yes. "Maybe after he's gone, she'll come back, love me again..." 9:39 pm	This guy's pretty bizarre, Gus OK, so here's the story: A bunch of happy travellers are on the tram. The driver gives a nice little commentary about where they're going. Then the travellers become suspicious because the driver asks for directions. Then the SWAT team raid the tram and everything freezes. There are 2 wogs playing soccer in the park. A news reporter comes and asks them if they know anything about the hujacking of the tram on the weekend. The wogs have no clue. Now it's Christmas five years ago and Steven and friends are playing a game of Twister. Steven is miserable because he got a ball for Christmas instead of a toy tram. His dad tells him that he's been getting trams every Christmas for the last six years and Steven starts crying. One of his friends swaps his new tram for Steven's ball. The news reporter comes to a certain Les Claypool (me!) and asks about the tram incident. Les replies by saying it was an awesome idea for a song (typical, hey!) A gangsta rapper was almost killed by the tram, as the reporter is told...by the gangsta.... Four tram supervisers are out to lunch arguing about the footy until the boss comes in and informs them that the keys to the tram are missing. The supervisers, being the typical yobs that they are, haven't got a clue. Two policemen are interviewed. They cannot give away too much detail because they are very important. The badges and stripes say so. The four airhead yobs are out to lunch the next day. The boss turns up and says that a tram's missing. The supervisers have no clue... The news reporter interviews Steven's grandfather and brother. They say that Steven has mental problems and is obsessed with trams. A bunch of happy travellers are on the tram. The driver gives a nice little commentary about where they're going. Then the travellers become suspicious because the driver asks for directions. Then the SWAT team raid the tram in slow motion and hold the driver under arrest. Les Claypool (me!) comes up, guitar in hand, and sings a little ditty about the tram stealer. The End. 8:39 pm	Going to Alice Cooper!!! At bloody last! I've been waiting at least two months for tickets and left it til the last minute. First I had to find the right phone number to the bloody place to book them, then I needed someone to go with. Knowing my friends, they either hate him or couldn't be stuffed going or couldn't get the money, but I settled on my neighbour, who, surprisingly, is as crazy about Him as me. We have pretty crap seats though. On the balcony, half-way back. I would've liked to be as close to him as possible but it still should be awesome. It's the Coop for God's sake! He's a legend. It's also a relief becuase so far in the last 5 years I've missed The Who, Franz Ferdinand, PJ Harvey, Klinger, The Doors and Blondie. None of them I went to. It is my hope that we can utilize this meeting of the minds to successfully convey the essence of our platform to you, a grand and noble audience. As I look out among the faces, I reflect, taking console in the words of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who said, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself". Paranoia is a disease unto itself, and may I add, the person standing next to you may not be who they appear to be, so take precaution. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, this is true. Many a young person has fallen prey to the substances that alter the perspective of any right thinking individual. The Problem with the youth today is, because of their inexperience with the world, they cannot attempt to grasp the ideals set forth by myself and those who preceded me.
